Knox Sackville Community Art Series presents an afternoon of Songs and Stories. This extraordinary lineup offers a blend of talent, storytelling, and musical mastery that promises to captivate our audience:

· Jim Henman:
An original member of the iconic band April Wine and an inductee into Canada’s Songwriting Hall of Fame, Jim’s deep roots in Canadian music and storytelling resonate with fans of all generations.

· Dave Carroll:
Known worldwide for his viral sensation “United Breaks Guitars” (over 30 million views on YouTube), Dave has graced platforms like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and garnered numerous songwriting nominations, including an East Coast Music Award.

· Lisa Richard:
Celebrated for her breathtaking performance with Vince Gill and The Time Jumpers in Nashville, Lisa continues to charm audiences with her heartfelt tributes, such as her rendition of Gordon Lightfoot’s “If You Could Read My Mind.” She has won two independent international songwriting awards and continues to earn accolades for her artistry.

This intimate and powerful showcase combines the distinct voices, talents, and experiences of three incredible songwriters, making it a truly one-of-a-kind performance.

Also joining the trio is guitar virtuoso, Warren Robert. Warren has been instructing guitar, bass and theory since 1986 for such schools as McCabe Music, The Canadian Conservatory of Music and The Fall River School of Performing Arts. Warren is a classically trained composer with over 30 years of playing experience and is currently the lead guitarist for the Lisa Richard Band. He was also the guitarist for Canadian rock legend Myles Goodwyn’s Solo Band (Myles Goodwyn Band).  Warren has created the music scores to over 200 international television shows.
